GalvinClear showcased at the UK Mental Health Design Exhibition

We are proud to be associated and partner with Wallgate who are exhibiting at the Design in Mental Health event to focus on the design of mental health facilities with a clear focus on creating calm therapeutic environments for the benefit of patients and staff alike.

Both conference and exhibition are well attended by NHS trusts and private healthcare providers alongside architects and contractors who design and build the facilities that they manage every day.

Wallgate has been specialising in the design and manufacture of robust, innovative and efficient washrooms and sanitaryware solutions.

With products such as washbasins, showers and WCs, all developed specifically for the mental health sector, Wallgate provides a wide range of anti-ligature products that create a safe, secure and normalised environment for patients. Together with Wallgate’s intelligent water controls, they help ensure healthcare providers maximise their energy and water efficiencies.

Wallgate prides itself on meeting market demands and driving forward innovative solutions. Wallgate has been working with care specialists to develop a new care and dementia-friendly product range that could transform sanitaryware solutions and water management within dementia and aged care facilities. It has been developed specifically to aid independence and maintain dignity for someone living with dementia and will not only create a safer environment for people, but also create a managed care system for care providers. Anyone looking for aged care and dementia-friendly washrooms will want to visit the Wallgate stand to discover more.

Wallgate have showcased two new shower solutions. Firstly, an anti-ligature wall mounted shower head with an automatic divert feature, providing a removable hand held shower for use by the carer. Growing on the success of our existing anti-ligature user adjustable temperature controls, we have also updated the design for front access TMV maintenance, aimed at reducing the cost and risk associated with the traditional access panel.
