Warranty Assessment and Charges

• No fee will be charged for products covered by the Manufacturer's Warranty.
• Where a warranty claim is lodged, Galvin Engineering reserves the right to inspect and assess the product to determine whether the fault is covered under the Manufacturer's Warranty.
• If the fault is found not to be covered by the Manufacturer's Warranty, all associated costs will be charged to the customer, including but not limited to:
  • Investigation and inspection costs.
  • Labour charges and travel time.
  • External testing costs.
  • Freight and handling charges.
  • Spare parts and replacement products.
  • Plumber, contractor, or service technician call-out and repair costs.
• Labour will be charged at $37.50 (ex GST) in 15-minute increments for travel time and time spent investigating or repairing the product.
• A minimum service fee of $180.00 (ex GST) applies to all non-warranty service call-outs.
• Examples of faults that are not covered under warranty include, but are not limited to:
  • Incorrect or improper installation.
  • Improper installation of an Electronic Supply System.
  • Inadequate maintenance.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Debris, contamination, or mineral deposit build-up.
  • Damage, misuse, or leakage caused by the customer or third parties.
  • Site-related issues, including water quality, environmental conditions, or plumbing system faults.
• Where a fault is determined to be outside the manufacturer's warranty, the customer will be responsible for the cost of any replacement product supplied by Galvin Engineering, together with any plumber or contractor attendance fees incurred in diagnosing, removing, reinstalling, or repairing the product.
• All invoices, where applicable, will be issued by Galvin Engineering Pty Ltd.
• A Service Person will contact you or your client upon receipt of this form.
