The lead free Galvin Capstan Chrome Plated Lead Safe™ 1/2 Turn Child Safety Wall Top Assembly Set is designed to prevent babies, toddlers and young children from independently adjusting hot water flow - particularly in the bathtub or at any easily accessible fixture in the home, school, or childcare facility.
Once an adult sets the water flow, the half-turn ceramic disc mechanism limits further operation by young children until an adult resets it. There are no locks or additional hardware required - it works within the existing tap body, making it a straightforward retrofit or new installation for plumbers and builders.
Manufactured from lead free DZR brass, this assembly is compliant with the Lead Free Requirements of NCC 2022, and is WaterMark certified to AS 3718. Sold as a set (hot and cold pair) with capstan handles included.
