From 1 May 2026, no manufacturer may produce non-lead-free WaterMark certified products. Manufacturers who have not recertified their product lines as lead free will have their WaterMark Licences suspended. However, the ABCB Board has confirmed that existing certified stock already in the supply chain can continue to be installed until 1 May 2028.
