Project Description

Bunbury Regional Prison underwent an expansion providing space for an additional 160 detainees, increasing the facilities capacity by 50%. The development involved the construction of a new educational facility, renovation of the dining and kitchen areas, and modifications to the service and security infrastructure.

Galvin Engineering was the supplier of choice due to our extensive experience in the correctional industry. To ensure that inmates and staff are kept safe, the tapware and sanitaryware design had to be appropriate for high-risk locations. To reduce the risk of self-harm and harm to others, many of our anti-ligature and anti-vandal products were incorporated into this project.
