Designed and manufactured in Australia, the GalvinCare® Safe-Connect Shower Kit delivers the same patented performance as the original Safe-Connect Shower Head, now supplied complete with a durable handpiece and hose assembly. Created for mental-health, correctional, and high-care facilities, this all-in-one system supports independent or assisted showering while maintaining a normalised appearance that promotes dignity and calm.
The patented click-connect hose system lets carers attach the handpiece when required and remove it instantly when not in use, eliminating ligature risk and simplifying cleaning. The optimised hose length prevents the handpiece from touching the floor, which reduces breakage, saving facility owners hundreds of dollars annually in replacements, and minimises infection risk from contaminated surfaces. This kits hose length creates an air gap providing separation between the handpiece and shower floor, helping prevent backflow contamination and improving water safety.
By integrating the diverter, hose, and shower head into a single patented unit, the Safe-Connect Shower Kit also reduces installation costs by more than $500 per unit compared with conventional shower-and-diverter setups.
Protected under Australian Patent 2017100421 (international patents pending), this system is a unique GalvinCare® innovation that delivers safety, hygiene, and long-term cost efficiency in one neat package.
