Specification Data Sheet

New Zealand market product - not suitable for sale or use in Australia. For Australian accessible bathroom specification, please see the 123.44 series (460×810mm, AS 1428.1:2021 accessible compliant).

The Wallgate accessible solid surface WC pan in 460×750mm format is the New Zealand market configuration – engineered to meet New Zealand Building Code accessibility requirements for mental health, custodial, and secure healthcare bathrooms where AS 1428.1 alignment is not the relevant compliance pathway. The 460×750mm format provides accessible projection at NZ specification; the integrated grey seat removes the most ligature-prone and most frequently damaged component on a standard pan; the warm-to-touch composite finish and domestic WC profile support a normalised, non-institutional aesthetic appropriate for patients in care.

Why Specify

  • Ligature resistant – one-piece moulded construction with concealed fixings, no removable seat, no hinges, no exposed hardware
  • Shatterproof – solid surface composite absorbs impact without fracturing, removing shard and weapon risk
  • New Zealand accessible projection – 460×750mm format aligned to NZ Building Code accessibility requirements
  • Normalised aesthetic – domestic WC profile and finish, designed to mimic a home-like environment rather than a custodial or clinical one, supporting patient dignity and recovery in mental health and aged care settings
  • Warm to touch – unlike stainless steel, solid surface composite does not retain the cold of the bathroom environment, which matters in cooler climates, unheated ensuites, and for users with tactile or sensory sensitivities
  • Rimless design – improved hygiene and easier cleaning
  • Refurbishable in situ – surface can be sanded and re-polished on the wall, no replacement required
  • Front or rear fixing – flexible installation against solid wall or panelled service void (sold separately)
  • P-trap configuration – paired with the appropriate fixing kit (sold separately)
  • Integrated grey seat – for clinical or normalisation settings
