Concealed services electronic basins are the flagship Wallgate basin solution for high-acuity mental health, forensic and custodial environments. All water and waste services are concealed through the wall and managed via the Wallgate WDC or NX water management system, creating a clean, normalised bathroom environment with no exposed plumbing, isolation valves or removable hardware visible or accessible to the user. Activation can be configured via piezo or infrared sensor depending on project requirements.
Wallgate Water Management Controls (WDC & NX)
Concealed services electronic basins form part of an integrated Wallgate water management system and cannot operate as standalone fixtures. WDC and NX controllers manage water delivery, run-times, anti-tamper logic and hygiene functions across connected fixtures.
Key functionality includes:
Controllers and solenoid packs are sold separately. Basin specifications must include the appropriate Wallgate controller and solenoid pack for a complete working installation. Galvin Engineering specification consultants can assist with selection.
The Wallgate concealed services solid surface electronic dual infrared sensor basin combines maximum ligature resistant performance with hygienic hands-free hot and cold operation for mental health, forensic, custodial and acute healthcare environments.
The integrated outlet removes separate tapware and associated ligature risks, while the one-piece moulded construction provides exceptional durability and vandal resistance. Dual infrared sensor activation enables contact-free operation, supporting improved hygiene outcomes in clinical handwashing applications. Sensor activation communicates with the concealed Wallgate water management system to deliver a programmed water run-time.
The polycarbonate solid surface finish and warm-touch composite material provide a more refined and less institutional user experience than traditional stainless-steel alternatives.
